This evening the cupoco team went to the ArcticEvening event in Tallinn. ArcticStartup created a nice atmosphere at club Marat.
We get to know a lot of nice people and established interesting contacts.

I was twittering live from the event at twitter.com/cupoco.
The topic of the panel was about “What is marketing for startups and how to do it effectively”. It was interesting to hear the different point of views of the panelists, Martin Koppel (CEO Fortumo), Petteri Koponen (Co-founder, Partner, Lifeline Ventures) and Kai Lemmetty (Co-founder, Floobs).
Petteri and Kaid thought a different way about marketing for startups than Martin. Martin is really marketing focused and relies on traditional marketing concepts. Petteri and Kai are pushing the word of mouth marketing. Try using blogs, twitter, facebook and your friend network where their statement.
I think i depends on the product you have. Some are good for viral campaigns and internet marketing and some need traditional ways.
For us is the conclusion: “Launch our product and tell the world about it!”
We love cupoco and we’re looking forward that you’ll do it as well!
Thx to Antti Vilpponen and his team from ArcticStartup. Nice to meet you!
Sleep well!
Till from the cupoco headquarter in tallinn!
